A U.S. judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice against supporters of Palestinians, ruling that the complaint presented by the government did not sufficiently prove violations of the law. This was in accordance with the Freedom of Access to Clinics Act, which prohibits physical interference and violence at reproductive health centers. The lawsuit, filed in September 2025, accused protesters of intimidating participants during a demonstration against a real estate event at a Jewish synagogue in New Jersey, which allegedly escalated into acts of violence. The judge emphasized that the government could submit an amended complaint within 30 days, while preserving the legal rights of the parties involved.
