Israeli Forces Launch Incursion into Quneitra
The recent military developments in Quneitra in southern Syria show an Israeli intrusion into the village of Al-Ajraf, where checkpoints were set up, passersby were searched, agricultural lands were targeted, and random gunfire was fired to disperse shepherds. These actions represent ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement signed in 1974. These movements come amid official Syrian condemnations and threats of continued violations, while the UN surveillance continues to document these violations and their impact on the local populations.
