FIFA Reveals Women's Club World Cup Details
The United States will host the first edition of the Women's Club World Cup in January 2028, featuring 19 teams from all continents, including seven confirmed teams: Arsenal, America Feminine, Barcelona, Gotham, Naygoyang, Corinthians, and Hang Yang, while the remaining teams have not yet been determined. The tournament will take place from January 5 to 30, with FIFA’s goal being to leverage the North American market due to its success and experience in organizing international tournaments. This move follows the United States hosting the men's World Cup in 2026, as well as hosting the Women's World Cup recently, with plans to also host the 2031 edition of the Women's World Cup.
