The article discusses the situation of Yemeni Defense Minister Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Aqili, who is currently held at Aboud Camp in Al-Dhalea city. He was unable to leave the camp after attempting to do so via a fake convoy that came under heavy gunfire from armed men on the roads. Al-Aqili remains surrounded, with the camp heavily guarded, amid ongoing security tensions in the city and the refusal to allow the minister to exit, which threatens the safety of civilians. These developments come amid increasing security deployments in the province, with calls to urgently find a solution to end the siege and secure the minister’s departure, amid fears of a potential escalation that could endanger the lives of civilians.
