Iran's Guard Views US Pullout as Historic Win
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have affirmed that the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq is a historic event and a victory for the resistance axis. They described it as a prelude to removing American presence from all parts of West Asia. The statement characterized this event as the "vanguard" toward achieving full liberation of the region and saluted the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance Front, including Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis. It considered that the resilience of the Iraqi people and the will of the resistance led to the U.S. withdrawal after twenty years of occupation. The statement emphasized that this withdrawal reflects a significant American defeat and is viewed as the first step in retribution for Iraq's martyrs. It called on the United States to leave the region and cease interfering in its affairs, asserting that American presence has not brought security but has instead increased the suffering of the region.
