Wambaniama Supports French Student Protesters
French basketball star Victor Wembanyama supported the student protests in France demanding improvements in public school conditions. Around 71,500 people participated in the demonstrations, and Wembanyama expressed his support for the demands, which reflect deep-rooted issues within the education system, citing his personal experiences as a former student at Nanterre School. These are the largest protests in recent decades and focus on a shortage of teachers, deteriorating infrastructure, and the educational inequality gap.
