Tozeur Mobile Clinic Serves 120+ Patients
A health convoy was organized at Al-Hadi Hospital in Jaa Allah, Tozeur, benefiting more than 120 people in the specialties of heart and vascular diseases. The event was a collaboration between the Tunisian Society of Heart and Vascular Diseases and Surgery and "Opalia Recordati" laboratories, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and the Regional Directorate. The convoy provided various services including medical diagnosis, patient referrals to university hospitals, scheduling of surgical procedures, and training workshops for healthcare workers on cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The aim of this initiative is to bring and facilitate access to heart and vascular services for citizens, especially since the regional hospital lacks a dedicated operating room for heart surgery. The next convoy is scheduled in the urology specialty, representing a step to raise awareness, promote early detection of diseases, and provide necessary therapeutic interventions.
