The article discusses statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the potential reopening of the Strait of Hormuz soon, amid discussions between Iran and Oman to enhance maritime traffic through the strait. Iranian media assert that any agreement between Tehran and Muscat does not necessarily mean the Strait will be reopened at this time, especially given ongoing U.S. violations and Iran's warnings against accepting any surrender to American pressure. Iranian sources indicate that the strait, through which approximately 20% of the world's oil supplies pass, will not revert to its previous status under any circumstances. They also emphasize that current negotiations are bilateral and have no relation to the United States.
