Men found dead in California desert
Two men reported missing in September were discovered buried in a remote Lancaster property, prompting a homicide investigation by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. The bodies of Edward Perez and Ricky Phillips were identified during an extensive search, which included ground excavation and cadaver dogs, but the cause of death remains publicly undisclosed. The case is being treated as a homicide based on the circumstances of the discovery.
